Digi locker a new approach of electronic space

DigiLocker is a "digital locker" service launched by the Government of India in February 2015 to provide a secure dedicated personal electronic space for storing the documents of resident Indian citizens. The storage space (maximum 1GB) is linked to the Unique Identification Authority of India (Aadhaar number) of the user. The space can be utilized for storing personal documents like University certificates, Permanent account number (PAN) cards, voter id cards, etc., and the URIs of the e-documents issued by various issuer departments. There is also an associated facility for e-signing documents. The service is intended to minimize the use of physical documents and to provide authenticity of the e-documents. It will also provide secure access to government issued documents. It is to reduce administrative expenses of government departments and agencies and to make it easy for the residents to receive services. Raja Ram Mohan Roy

Raja Ram Mohan Roy,(22 May 1772 – 27 September, 1833) the great social reformer & nationalist, was known as The Father of the Bengal Renaissance. Raja Ram Mohan Roy was the founder of the Brahmo Samaj. His influence was apparent in the fields of politics, public administration and education as well as religion. He is best known for his efforts to establish the abolishment of the practice of sati, the Hindu funeral practice in which the widow was compelled to sacrifice herself in her husband’s funeral pyre. It was he who first introduced the word "Hinduism" into the English language in 1816. For his diverse activities and contributions to society, Raja Ram Mohan Roy is regarded as one of the most important and contentious figures in the Bengali renaissance. His efforts to protect Hinduism and India earned him the title "The Father of the Indian Renaissance".
