The History Behind The 2 Minute Maggi Noodles!!

Image
The History of Julius Maggi MAGGI owes its name to founder Julius Maggi (1846 - 1912), entrepreneur and inventor of the first product to bear the brand - MAGGI Soup Seasoning. Born in Frauenfeld, Switzerland, Julius took over a hammer mill from his father in 1869. At the time the milling industry was in crisis so Julius decided to open up new areas of production. He got in touch with physician Fridolin Schuler who had a concept for improving the nutritional content of meals for the labouring classes by making packaged foods out of milled pulses or legumes. Together they began product development and after two years of experimentation, the first industrially produced leguminous flour was put on the Swiss market in 1884. When the expected market breakthrough failed to occur, Julius went back to the drawing board and created MAGGI ready-to-use soups in in 1886, then launched MAGGI flavouring later in the year. More and more new products followed between 1887 and 1889. Julius op...

Can Windows 10 give Microsoft a second life?

Image
The tech company looks to redeem itself from the failure of its last operating system Windows 8. In the last week of July, Microsoft will launch Windows 10. Since 1995, when Windows won over geeks and took over the world of computers, every launch of this operating system (OS) has been a big deal. Windows still powers over 80 per cent of world's computers. But there is one more reason why the release of the new Windows is a significant moment for computers users and Microsoft. It was a victory that seemed unlikely just 24 hours earlier as she battled from the debilitating effects of the flu. It was a victory that seemed unlikely as she raged at allowing a 6-3, 4-1, 40-15 lead slip through her fingers in the second set. It was a victory that seemed unlikely 20 minutes earlier when Lucie Safarova had broken for a 2-0 lead in the third set.
