In the year 2015 WhatsApp has rolled out so many updates and added new features. In this article we are going to discuss about the updates regarding WhatsApp of Android version.Find out which of the following feature you liked most and note worthy.

WhatsApp voice calling:


The very first feature is the WhatsApp voice calling
WhatsApp app rolled out this feature in the early 2015 ,having vivid sound quality without any interruptions and we can make a WhatsApp call to the WhatsApp contacts directly from our phones default contact list.

Mute notifications:


Then switching to mute notifications option in this we can mute notifications for 8 hours,1 week or 1 year and also can turn off notifications. WhatsApp let you set specific notification tones,vibration length ,notification light,popup notification and customize WhatsApp call notifications,there are options to adjust how new messages pop up depending on screens on/off status .We can find these options in settings->Notifications.
Mark conversation as read or and unread which might come handy if you want to respond to something at a later date.

Rich preview:

The rich preview feature generates a preview for a shared link .The app provides large thumbnail of the link.
Support for Android direct share,which lets you quickly choose a specific chat when sharing content from other app(Android 6.0+)

Starred messages:

By  long hold on a message we get the option to star it .This works like bookmarking,where you can star messages and go back to them later in a separate folder.

Chat backup:


Back up your messages and media to Google Drive.You can restore them when you reinstall WhatsApp.Your messages and media will also back up to your phone's internal storage.
There are optiops to backup such as Never,Only when I tap "Back up",Daily,Weekly,Monthly.We can also Back up over Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi or cellular.



New Emojis:

WhatsApp reorganized the emojis into new categories and added dozens of new ones.New travel destinations and places of interest have been added too in the WhatsApp new version.There are fairness metered emojis like thumbs up emoji.

The following are   NASA's plan if an asteroid is heading to Earth  Step 1: A text message would be sent to a team of 12 scientists.  Step 2: The scientist immediately start tracing the asteroid's path  Step 3:  They measure the size of the object and predict the time of impact  Step 4: They confirm with authorities whether the impact is unavoidable.  Step 5: A public statement would then be issued. They include firing lasers into the asteroid. Crashing a spacecraft into an approaching asteroid is another possibility. As is detonating a bomb next to an incoming object. There is no risk at the moment though. NASA can't detect any asteroid currently heading towards us. No large object is likely to strike for at least several hundred years.
